Our First Guest Designer and Exciting News!

Hi Everyone!

Firstly can we thank everyone for your interest in being our Guest Designer, there were so many of you and we loved all your cards, it was a very tough decision as you can imagine!

After much consultation with the DT, we decided that our first Guest Designer for challenges 3 & 4 would be ...

Lorraine

We chose Lorraine because we loved her use of colour and she also made such a beautiful card with a stamp which had been languishing unused for a long time, just what Sketch and Stash is all about!!

But don't worry, we've made a list of everyone who was interested and rather than do a GD call every other challenge we've decided to work our way through the list! So watch out for an email if you're the lucky one to get picked for challenges 5 & 6!

We also welcome Cathy as our final DT member, Cathy impressed us by making 2 cards for the challenge, and she will be a real asset, welcome aboard Cathy!!

Remember you can still join in the challenge for fun until the new sketch is posted on 2nd Feb, when we have a fantastic prize on offer by a wonderful sponsor!!

Sketch and Stash Challenge #2

Hi Everyone!

Can we firstly take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part in our first challenge! The response was overwhelming and it was such a pleasure to see all your new stash (and all that stash which you've finally got out and used!!)

For Challenge 2 we have a Guest Designer spot available for Challenge 3 and Challenge 4. If you would like to be considered please add GD to your comment. And don't worry about "not being good enough" that doesn't apply at Sketch and Stash!! The GD call will close at Midnight on Friday as this will give the Guest Designer a full week to create their card, but you can continue to enter the challenge for fun until our next challenge on 2nd Feb.

So onto this weeks challenge, here is the sketch for you to follow, use your new or never used (or neglected) stash on your cards and let us know what these items are, it's as simple as that!!

Becky

Becky has used a Dottie image from the Rock 'n' Roll Downloads available from Charmed Cards and Crafts which she won as Blog Candy from Dottie's World. Also used up are some neglected papers!!

Chrissie

Chrissie has used two of her unused Magnolia images on her card. She has combined the Magnolia Swing with Edwin with Glasses (love him!!) both available from Sir Stampalot.

Lisa

Lisa has used her new Forever Friends papers from the Party Time pack, along with her super cute Penny Black 'Imagine' image which she has had for a while! Both items can be purchased from The Glitter Pot.

Welcome to The Sketch and Stash Challenge #1

Hello and welcome to a new challenge blog, the Sketch and Stash Challenge!

It couldn't be simpler to enter! Every 2 weeks there is a sketch to follow and all you have to do is use your new or never used (or hardly used!) stash on your creation! This is your chance to fall in love with all that stash again or just to show off with your brand new stash!! For full details on the challenge please see on the right!

Lisa has used one of her new Pollycraft stamps which she won as blog candy from Pollycraft to create her pretty pastel card. This super cute couple stamp is called 'Cherish'.
